“养花，先养根，养根，先配土。”在每养一盆植物的时候，需要选择合适的土壤，最常用的就是营养土，很多花友喜欢在网上购买配好的土壤，但是市场上的营养土种类繁多，优劣比较难判断，买土不如自己配土。

沙漠玫瑰

下面就说一说最常用的这几种土，它们的特点和作用，适合哪些植物。

园土

园土，也就是大家所说的菜园土、田园土，但城市建筑挖出的地下土和砂砾土不宜直接用来种花。

优点：取材方便，营养丰富，接近自然土壤，养殖苗木类植物管理方便、长势好。

缺点：干的时候容易板结，湿的时候黏糊糊的，疏水透气性差，还有可能夹带着各种虫子。

腐叶土

腐叶土，也可以说是垃圾土、腐殖土，是植物枝、叶在土壤中或者生活有机垃圾（如水果皮、烂菜叶）堆积经过微生物分解发酵后形成的一种土。

优点：透气性好，营养成分高，采集方便，制作简单。

缺点：保水性差，且随着使用时间延长，腐叶进一步分解，透气性会越来越差。

泥炭土

泥炭土分为国产泥炭和进口泥炭。国产泥炭99%是草本泥炭，进口泥炭主要是藓类泥炭。

优点：质地轻、透气性好，保水、保肥性好，营养丰富。

缺点：土壤完全干透，浇透水比较麻烦，使用时间长了，透气性也会降低，一般通过加入其它颗粒性植料进行改善。

作用：增加土壤中有机物含量，提供营养。

珍珠岩

珍珠岩，分为开孔珍珠岩和闭孔珍珠岩，常用在园艺上的珍珠岩是开孔珍珠岩。因为珍珠岩多孔的特性，可以增加土壤的透气性。

优点：价格便宜，透气性好，无菌不腐，不吸收水分，但是水分可以依附在其表面。

缺点：用的久了，会粉末化。

椰砖

椰糠

椰砖是，是由椰子壳粉碎、压缩而成，分为粗椰糠和细椰糠。

优点：保水性好、透气性好、散水速度快，物理性稳定，可重复使用的轻基质。

缺点：营养含量低，需要定期增加肥料；因为椰树在海边生长，所以椰子壳中会含有盐，所以不管椰糠没有进行脱盐，在使用前都要洗一洗（即便脱盐了，因为是大规模生产，所以脱盐的椰糠多少会有盐分残留）。
